Body Wisdom Integration

Love Your BodyRemember the first time you had to stand up in front of an audience and give a speech? You may recall that you experienced “butterflies” in your tummy. These fluttering sensations were a way of your physical body sending you a message. In this case the message was nerves and you probably heard it loud and clear.

Your body is a resourceful and informative guide. Yet people rarely listen to their bodies. Learning how to relate to bodily sensations and messages to inner feeling and thought, puts you in touch with your internal source of health and wisdom. Your body expresses its own needs and also often turns your thoughts into physical sensations. To teach my clients to better understand the messages of the body, I created a Life Coaching tool called Body Wisdom Integration which promotes body awareness, positive body image and calm.

Body Wisdom Integration (BWI) is a holistic process which teaches you how to connect your mind and body to support you as you implement the Live Life Philosophy. In our coaching relationship, you will be moving through many changes. Understanding how to adapt to change both physically and mentally promotes wellness and personal growth.

The BWI is designed to support your success and assist you to move through resistance, distractions, habits, and obstacles.

BWI will enhance and hone your body awareness. You will learn how to trust your body’s wisdom, be grounded, gain clarity and self-confidence as you implement changes in your life. The BWI offers you the opportunity to turn the unexpected into powerful outcomes and allows you to expand and grow in exciting new ways. This results in self-discovery, optimum well-being, and natural health.

The seven components that create this process are:

1. Connecting with Your Body: Grounding in the Moment
Grounding is the foundation upon which everything else is built. By being “grounded” you are consciously creating an energy connection from your physical body into the physical world. With a solid foundation to access feelings and emotions, you open the pathway to liberate your fears and step more deeply into your power. This connection will center you as you move through change.

2. Connecting with Your Emotional Body: Flow with Your Feelings
Learn the language of the emotional body instead of practicing the habits of avoiding, controlling, and/or ignoring your feelings. By fully understanding the feelings and emotions your body is trying to express, you will find flow and move through life with ease. You will ride the wave of “all that is”. Facing your feelings is an essential tool to navigate through chaos and confusion inherent in making sustainable changes.

3. Connecting with Your Mental Body: Ignite Your Fire
Learning to embody your own power, energy, and vitality is an important step when facing change. As you liberate your fears, you align yourself with your integrity and step into your courage, strength, and freedom to be yourself and change becomes an opportunity for growth.

4. Opening Your Heart: Loving What Is
The heart is where heaven and earth meet in your body: the center of Divine Love, Compassion, and Acceptance. Opening the heart to love supports you in healing, embracing change, and expanding into infinite possibility.

5. Communicating with Clarity: Speaking Your Truth
What you say creates what you experience in life. Find your true voice and learn to articulate and communicate your deepest truth; gracefully, respectfully, and confidently. When you are in the midst of a change, it becomes very important that you communicate with clarity.

6. Inner Wisdom: Explore your Inner Brilliance
Learn to “tune in” to what you see as possible and how to accomplish it, as you move through changes in your life. Your deep wisdom will be a guiding force to fulfill your heart’s desires and deal with the (potential) decisions, problems, and challenges that you are facing.

7. Connecting with Universal and Inner Peace: Simply Being
Connect to the Source that surrounds and connects each of us with one another as you free yourself of attachments and expectations of how people are and how life unfolds. Honor the gift of living your life in alignment with your core being: in love, peace, unity, and universal flow. This step of connection is vital as you integrate change.
